It sounds like you have your work cut out at the moment andI can appreciate what you're up against because I am a moderator on a similar support site. I hope you find your missing mods and administrators soon!

I wondered if it would be ok to introduce myself and give a brief outline of why I'm here, how I found you etc? As a new member I'm unsure of where I am at the moment but I would like to look into bringing the idea of the support groups over here to England and that'show I've come by you this afternoon. I want to get to know the format and the way things are done so to join and work my way through the forums and meet people and learn about the format for the groups wouldbe really ebenficial for me and hopefully for others over here in turn.

I don't know of any forums specifically for Male Survivors, but you certainly could start such a discussion on this forum.

Can you make a new thread for ppl trying to remember their abuse? I don't know what you'd call it... survivors trying to remember their abuse sounds a bit long, but would work if you don't have any other ideas...?

Uumm is there any way to edit stuff after its posted? I accidentally dropped the name of my fiancee in the thread you just started for me. Maybe Im paranoid, but my abusers are still alive n kickin, and not that I think they're scouring the abuse forums lookin for me, but Idont feel very comfortable having that out there, jnc. If not....thats ok its my bad for slippin in the 1st place, but if we can...?

I think you can edit your own posts - there should be an Edit button on the top right on the post. I can edit posts, but I didn't actually see any names on that thread to edit out - sorry if I missed it!

yea lol I told u the wrong thread, is ok, was a moment of paranoia, my babes name is mike (Oh no! I said it again! oh no! 0_o )....theres a billion ppl out there with that name, even if they did find me they couldnt do anything to me, im a big girl now, so don't know what i was worried about. Ahhh well, comes and goes, I also found the edit button (but left it there to make a point to myself) thanks for looking and trying tho, I appreciate it :-)

Sometimes it's the little symbols - like using your sweetie's name in public, that make the most difference :) Glad it worked out okay!
